A Burn Camp for Children

Dates: July 27, 2024

Located in Camp Wapiti in Tooele, Utah, this five-day, four-night camp introduces children to the burn survivor world. Kids will meet, talk, play, and live with other survivors their age, fully supported by our experienced counseling staff. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, camp will be split into two sections this year.

Activities such as canoeing, rock climbing, and archery give them a chance to build self-esteem and create lasting friendships. Psychosocial professionals additionally provide role-playing activities and mentorship for the young survivor to take on the challenges that life presents.

Ages: 6–13
