    Dr. D. Adriana Andreae, MD PhD, is an allergist and immunologist caring for patients with allergic diseases and immunodeficiency disorders. She is seeing patients of all ages, from infancy to adulthood. She is especially interested in diagnosing and managing food allergies in children and adults as well as primary immunodeficiencies. In addition, she diagnoses and treats a wide spectrum of allergic and immunologic diseases, including asthma, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), atopic dermatitis (eczema), drug allergies, insect sting allergies, anaphylaxis, esosinophilic disorders (e.g. Eosinophilic Esophagitis), urticaria (hives), angioedema (swelling), anaphylaxis and immunodeficiency disorders.

    Dr. Andreae attended Medical School in Berlin, Germany and Lausanne, Switzerland, graduating with an MD PhD. She trained in Pediatrics in Freiburg, Germany and at Elmhurst Hospital, Mount Sinai Services in New York City. She completed her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Mount Sinai in New York City. Dr. Andreae has since cared for patients with allergies and immunodeficiencies in New York City and at Penn State in Hershey, PA. She is board certified in both Pediatrics and Allergy/ Immunology.

    Dr. Andreae recently moved to Salt Lake City with her husband and three sons and is excited to start exploring the outdoor opportunities and natural beauty of Utah with her family.

    Dr. Andreae has been active in research since medical school. She has worked in the food allergy research lab at Mount Sinai in New York City and has since continued to publish in the field of Allergy and Immunology, specifically in food allergies and primary immunodeficiencies.

    Her second research focus is on health care disparity and bias research.
