He practices evidenced-based holistic care and believes our nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and social connections are the foundation of our health. Dr. Wolferz is trained in prescribing medication-assisted treatment for addiction (opioid use, alcohol, and tobacco), HIV PrEP, and psychiatric medications while being skilled in office procedures such as joint injections, long-acting contraception, and minor skin procedures. His research interests include whole food, plant-predominant nutrition for chronic disease remission. His medical interests also include exercise as medicine, public health policy toward active transportation, and the impact of community-oriented physicians.

    When outside the clinic, he enjoys trail and marathon running, hiking in the Wasatch, and cooking for friends and family.
