Treating Endocrine Disorders
Endocrine surgery is a way of managing endocrine disorders through surgery. Disorders of the endocrine system involve a network of glands and organs that control and coordinate the body鈥檚 metabolism, energy, reproduction, growth and development, and responses through hormones. The glands include the thyroid and parathyroid glands in the neck and the adrenal glands above each kidney.
