Biometrics Test: Get a Picture of Your Overall Health

PEAK's Biometrics Testing package gives you a good picture of your overall health. This package includes the following tests:

  • Total lipid (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides)
  • Glucose or A1C
  • Resting blood pressure
  • Waist circumference

Appointment Information

  • 15-minute appointment
  • Do not eat, drink coffee, or exercise 10-12 hours prior to your test
  • It is fine to drink water before your testing appointment
  • Do come rested and relaxed

What is the difference between glucose and A1C?

Glucose reflects real time blood sugar levels. Glucose testing is recommended for young, healthy individuals with no family history of diabetes.

A1C measures the amount of glucose attached to hemoglobin in red blood cells, which indicates average blood sugar levels over the past two to three months. This gives a more definitive picture of blood sugar trends than a glucose test. A1C is also used to diagnose diabetes or prediabetes.
