Doximity鈥檚 2024-2025 Residency Navigator has ranked the John A. Moran Eye Center's residency program No. 6 nationwide and No. 1 in the West.
, a networking platform for physicians, conducts an annual survey to determine its rankings. Medical school graduates use them to evaluate high-quality training programs when considering where to apply for residency.
Moran Vice Chair of Education Rachel G. Simpson, MD, said the rankings reflect the unique opportunities the program affords trainees. Moran residents gain extensive surgical experience beyond the national average and have protected time for research and outreach work.
