It was the second hospital established in Utah, and it had just 13 beds and three doctors who worked without payment. CommonSpirit Health purchased its five Utah hospitals in 2023, returning them to their Catholic heritage and strengthening the values-driven health care offerings in Utah. Acting upon its vision of building a healthier future for all鈥攊nspired by faith, driven by innovation and powered by humanity鈥擟ommonSpirit has invested more than $100 million in its facilities and caregivers in Utah in the past 18 months.
