Norlin鈥檚 passion for the ever changing field of pediatrics keeps him engaged in searching for methods of improvement and ways to break barriers. We discuss what has changed since he began practicing in 1980, the 鈥淢edical Home鈥 concept, his role in the Pediatric Quality Improvement Organization, and finally, why systems and checklists are important for maintaining balance.
